We’ve upgraded your online banking security

Your online security is important to us so we are making changes to better protect you from identity theft and fraud. Our Enhanced Multi-Factor Authentication (eMFA) ensures the highest levels of security for your online transactions. This enhancement protects against online fraud by providing an additional authentication ‘factor’ beyond username and password. The solution is designed to preserve the convenience and usability of your online banking experience while providing peace of mind through the use of a one-time access code that is given to you by your choice of phone, text message or email.

How does enhanced security login work?

Enhanced Multi-Factor Authentication is an online banking security process that means two or more different types of factors of authentication must be provided before allowing access to online banking. During your online banking enrollment you will be asked to set up your preferred method to receive a verification code.

  • Option 1: Text Message (up to 3 numbers)
  • Option 2: Automated Voice Call (up to 2 numbers)
  • Option 3: Email (up to 1 email address)

You will also be asked if you'd like to register your computer as private or public. Here are your options:

  • "Yes, Register This Computer as Private"
We recommend that this be used only when you are accessing from your personal non-shared computer. By selecting "yes" and registering the computer we will only require your username and password to log into online banking and bill pay. Please note that a cookie will be placed in your browser to remember that you've selected this option. If you clear your browser’s cookies you will be asked, again, whether or not you'd like to register the computer.

  • "No, This is a Public Computer"
If you are using a public or shared computer it is not advised to register the computer. This option will continue to ask you the added level of security (to validate yourself via text, phone or email) in addition to entering your username and password to provide that added level of security for your online banking and bill pay.

Note: Public / Private settings are stored in the computer browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari, Chrome) so if you switch to another computer or browser at a later date, you will be asked whether that computer/browser is public or private.

The Next Time You Login

Enrolled as Private:

  • Login to online banking as usual
  • There will be no need for a one-time passcode

Enrolled as Public:

  • Login to online banking as usual
  • A page will prompt you to enter how you will receive your one-time access code

Forgot your Password?

  • Click on the Forgot Password link
  • Enter your member number
  • Select which secure method to receive a one-time pass-code via text message, voice call or email

Once your account is set up...

We want to keep your account secure and protected from potential identity theft. In order to do this, we require that you enter your validation access code each time we don't recognize the computer you're on. We realize that this is an added step for our members and we hope that you understand this necessary step in order to keep your funds and transactions as secure as possible.
